Fri, Sep 7th, 2007 5:04 pm BdST
SYDNEY, Fri Sep 7, (bdnews24.com/Reuters) - Nuclear experts from the United States, China and Russia will visit North Korea from Sept. 11-15 to conduct a survey of nuclear facilities to be disabled, US envoy Christopher Hill said on Friday.

Hill, speaking to reporters on the eve of an Asia-Pacific leaders summit in Sydney, said the team was going at Pyongyang's invitation to the three nuclear powers involved in six-party talks on North Korea's denuclearization.

He said the inspections "would mark another important step toward denuclearization of the Korean peninsula."
